Our aim is to form a bond with your pet to allow for comfortable familiarity with each visit. We evaluate each guest and their individual personality and needs to determine the best approach for that pet. Some dogs love to socialize and be on the go, and some like to take it easy and relax. We find what works best for your dog and tailor their boarding experience just for them! In everything we do, our first and foremost priority is the well being of every dog we care for.
Our goal is for your dog to be excited and drag you in the next time you visit us!
DOGS
Our facility has 16 luxury suites. They are the most spacious in all of North Texas ranging from 100 sq ft to 140 sq ft. The suites all have windows, crown molding, raised doggie beds, raised wrought iron diners, and direct access to our large outdoor play yard.

PAMPERED POOCH PACKAGE
$30 for dogs up to 20 lbs
$50 for dogs over 20 lbs
Add this package for your dog while boarding and we will give them a massaging hydro-therapy bath and trim or file their nails before they go home. They will also be treated to a daily seasonal speciality treat, and daily fillings of peanut butter filled kong or shin bone (your choice).
Outings & Meals
Our new facility has over 6,000 sq ft of privacy fenced in play yards. We have private outings or play groups based on energy levels and personalities. All of these play groups and outings are included in boarding and are at least 4 times daily. Meal times are twice daily: at 7-8am and 5-6pm. We require you to bring your pet's own food and feeding directions, as well as comforting items from home such as blankets, beds, and toys with their own smell. We just ask that you label all items possible and understand that items may be washed if soiled. Please bring food in labeled containers with a sealed top or ziplock baggies. We ask that you do not bring large bags of dog food or bags that do not have an airtight seal. You are welcome to bring canned food, home prepared food, or any dehydrated food. We will follow the instructions we are given and want to serve your pets the same way you do at home.
All Inclusive
We want to be clear and open about our charges and service fees. Our boarding is all inclusive in that you do not pay for play times, tender loving affection, treats and snacks, routine administration of medication, and comfortable bedding. All we ask is that you bring their own food so as not to upset stomaches with any changes. We stand apart from other boarding facilities in that we take the dogs on potty walks every 4 hours during the day. In between potty walks and outdoor free time, we rotate betwen naps and play time. Let us know of any games or activities that your dog enjoys and we will make certain we become their new best friend!
Additional Services/Fees
- Meals $2 - We require you to bring your pet's own food in order to avoid an upset tummy with an abrupt change. If you do not bring their own food, Melinda will feed what she feeds her own pets and there will be a small fee per meal for this.
- Grooming Maintenance $5 - $10 When long haired breeds board with us for extended stays, we highly recommend scheduling regular brush outs every few days for a small fee.
TLC - THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS DO REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL NIGHTLY FEE OF $10 FOR EXTRA CARE
- Puppy Boarding - Puppies (typically under 8 mo of age) which are not potty trained and even with 4 walks per day, still need additional care or additional housekeeping
- In Heat - We ask that you only board intact dogs when they are out of season, but if a heat starts while your dog is boarding, there will be an additional fee for houskeeping and supervision
- Medical Care - This fee includes care for administering special needs such as insulin injections, caring for paralyzed or incontinent pets, regular wound dressings
- Incontinence/Behavioral Marking - Even with all of our daily outings, if your dog requires constant housekeeping due to marking the walls, or has incontinence issues which require daily laundry and in depth cleaning of their belongings and bedding, their nightly fee will be more
- Destructive Dogs - Some dogs are not suitable for staying in our regular suites due to tendencies to dig/chew at walls and/or baseboards. If you suspect your dog to have destructive tendencies or your dog displays those tendencies during its stay, we will move them to our "Tough Dog" suites which are tiled and have heavy duty wrought iron gates. Dogs boarding in this area require more supervision and TLC.
- Behavioral Issues - If your dog experiences severe separation anxiety or requires constant and dilligent supervision we may charge more for their boarding due to the extra and required TLC (many times these types of dogs must stay with Melinda and spend a lot of time in the office or require behavior therapy while boarding).
- Behavior Therapy/Training - This service can be provided during boarding stays after an initial consultation and evaluation. After the evaluation, a behavioral assessment map will be used to formulate a therapy/training plan to implement during boarding. Please see our Behavior Counseling page for pricing.
REPLACEMENT/REPAIR FEES - IT HAS BECOME NECESSARY FOR US TO CHARGE FEES TO REPLACE OR REPAIR AREAS IN THE BOARDING SUITES WHEN DAMAGED
(Please inform us if you suspect your dog might tear up our bedding so we may remove it prior to placing your dog in their suite. If you suspect your dog to have destructive tendencies with doors, walls, or windows, please make us aware so we can board them in our Tough Dog suites).

CATS

Sometimes we have allowed a cat and dog from the same household to board together in one of our family suites. Speak with Melinda for information on this.
Our new facility provides us with a cat room on the opposite side of our 5,000 sq ft building from where the dog boarding is. The cat room is specifically designed for boarding cats to enjoy the views outside as well as a view into our hallway. Our theme is "Hello Kitty" (as Melinda is a huge Hello Kitty fan and collector). Each cat condo provides spacious resting along with the necessity to jump from perch to perch. The cat condos are 5 feet tall and provide 3 different levels. Litter box is placed at the bottom with an intermediary perch to jump on. From that perch, the cat must jump to the middle level where we place food bowls and plenty of space to stretch out. From there, they can jump up to the high perch which has a plush, fleece covered nesting bed and provides a cozy resting place to watch the birds through a window. We ask that you bring your cat's own food, however we will provide the litter. Please label food containers and do not bring open bags that do not seal shut. You are welcome to bring any familiar items from home such as a bed or pillow. If your cat likes to socialize, get brushed, or likes to climb on our large scratching tower, we will provide times for these activities daily while they are with us. Everything but food is included in their boarding.
EXOTICS

$5-$20 depending on type of pet and husbandry required
Our new facility also provides us with a safe and private area away from dogs for the exotics that board with us. Our exotics area is also our large break room lounge, so guests will have frequent interraction throughout the day. The most recent exotic that boarded was a Dumpy Tree Frog named Robert. We care for birds of all sizes, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, lizards, reptiles, and we've even cared for a hedgehog. Our resident rabbit Teddy will greet any newcomers. He loves every animal, even dogs. His best friend is our resident kitty named Onyx. Onyx and Teddy are used to greeting all kinds of pets and will welcome yours too! For most exotics we just ask that you bring their own cage or acquarium and substrate, as well as their food and feeding instructions. Also, feel free to bring their own water or let us know if we need to give them bottled water.
